I’ve barely been in this town a day and I’m already bored.

What the hell is there to do in this town?

Making Up For Lost Time || Jackson & Lydia.

Jackson had always wanted to show Lydia his favourite view of Tree Hill. He had stumbled across it when he had been out running one afternoon and had found it just as the sun was setting. He had always had a bit of a secret love for nature and he wouldn’t admit it, but that view was probably the second best view in all of Tree Hill. The first of course would be Lydia. Jackson could stare at her all day and not get tired of looking at her. It was true what they said, love made you do the whacky! Especially when there were teenagers and lots of hormones involved. Not that either of them were complaining about it, being together was something they both cherished considering that they had both lost each other at some point, but they were determined for it never to happen again.

He had always had a lot of money. His adopted parents were loaded with dough and had no problem with dishing some out to Jackson whenever he was in need of it. So, when he had told them about his plans with Lydia, that had handed over the money for everything without hesitation. Times like these, Jackson really loved his life an loved it even more when he got to make out with Lydia a lot more than the couple in the sappy movie did. It was like they couldn’t keep their hands off each other while they were together, and they didn’t even need to make love to satisfy that urge. They just needed to be touching in some way, whether it was some basic kissing or holding hands. They tended to do both on a regular basis.

Jackson knew about Lydia’s fear of being alone in the dark, he had found that out when they had first started dating. He could only imagine that her fear would become even worse when she found out about all the monsters that were running around this town, the ones that he wanted to join. Jackson hated feeling with, and with all the creature of the night in this town, he was starting to feel less safe and incapable of protecting Lydia from everything that was out there and that was something that Jackson hated. Weakness. But he wasn’t going to worry about that, tonight. All he had to worry about was driving to the place. He had booked a hotel room for after their final surprise, hence why they both had over-night bags in the trunk of his car. He had a feeling that they would want some ‘alone time’ after her final surprise was over. Jackson smiled as Lydia opened the door and he took in her appearance. She looked absolutely amazing, as per usual. He reached forward and slowly zipped up her dress. “You look beautiful.” He leaned forward, pressing a kiss to her shoulder as his arms looped around her slender waist. He had a great feeling about tonight.

Lydia knew that Jackson had always like being out in nature. Well, he might not say it out loud, but she could just tell from the way he was acting and how relaxed he seemed to be. It was nice to see Jackson around something that he truly loved, well besides herself.  It was also nice to just be able to be them as a couple and away from everyone else. She loved hanging out with other people, but alone time with Jackson was something she craved, a lot.

She knew money was no issue, for either one of them. It never had been a problem to spend an outrageous amount of money at one point in time. But for some reason, in the moment of them shopping Lydia felt bad that she was spending Jackson’s money. Apparently her conscious was trying to be a good person. Lydia took her shopping a lot lighter than she could have. After awhile the shopping just became a second to being able to hang out with Jackson. Though it was fun having him help her pick out things and just play dress-up. The choice of watching a movie she had already seen or making out with Jackson was an easy answer in Lydia’s mind. Though she would have been content with holding his hand during the movie, the making out was just as amazing.

At first, the fear of the dark that Lydia had was just a small thing. Unfortunately it grew into something pretty big. It started around the time that her parents were arguing every night. They stopped really caring about anything that Lydia did, so she would watch scary movies to drown them out; the screams from the movie were better than her mom screaming. But the more she watched them, the more she started believing that there were things that came out of the dark. So that really started her need to have every light in the house on, at all times. Moving to Tree Hill really didn’t help, especially after she learned what Jeremy was and that there were more of them. Lydia’s house was one of the few houses on her street that wasn’t bashful about using light. It wasn’t like any parent was ever around to stop her from using them either. Luckily she had Jackson around, a lot to help her with her fear. It wasn’t something that she liked sharing with people. But after all, it was Jackson and he did know everything. As Jackson approached her, Lydia took a deep breath; he still had a way of making her nervous. Once he zipped her up, she placed her hands on top of his and leaned back into him. She was content just being in his arms, “Thanks, babe. I’m sure you look equally handsome.” She turned around, still wrapped up in his arms and looked him up and down. “Damn. You sure know how to wear a tux.” Smiling up at him, she was excited for the night ahead.

To Jackson, the best part about having foster parents was the fact that they wanted to give him everything. Money, clothes, expensive cars and a helluva lot of freedom. Which meant he was allowed to go wherever he wants, whenever he wants with whoever the hell he wanted to go with. They thought that giving him everything he wants would make up for him not growing up with his real parents raising him. Most of the time he really enjoyed the freedom and the fact that he got the house to himself most of the time due to the fact that his parents were working all the time. But at other times, he longed for the attention that he had been deprived of through his older years. It was like after he had finished with the toddler stage, they didn’t hold much interest in him and simply gave him everything except their time. Jackson pressed a kiss to her jaw, smiling. Even after all the years that they had known each other, she still managed to take his breath away. “You know me, I dress to impress.” He smirked as she turned to face him and he pulled Lydia closer to him before he leant down and pressed his lips against hers in a passionate kiss. Jackson would like to kiss her forever, if it was possible to do so. He never wanted to be apart from her.

Jackson Whittemore. 17. Co-captain of the winning lacrosse team. Probably the most awesome guy you'll ever meet. There's also this girl called Lydia Martin. I think it's safe to say that she is the most amazing and beautiful girl around. Too bad for you losers that she's mine.
